A group of scientists led by Professor Krishan A.L. conducted experimental studies on the effectiveness of the use of self-locking elements in eccentrically compressed structures on the example of pipe concrete samples.

November 28 in the conference hall of the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, the VII International Scientific Seminar " Magnitogorsk Materials Week 2022", dedicated to the memory of Alexander Zhilyaev, an outstanding scientist in the field of engineering of nanostructured materials, has started.

October 25-27 at the Central Research Institute of Black metals named after I.P. Bardin hosted the 13th International Congress of Distributors.

Among its participants are heads and specialists of leading metallurgical, pipe, machine-building enterprises, industry research institutions. The agenda of the Congress includes discussion of key issues related to the main directions of development of rolling, pipe and hardware production.

October 18, 2022 at the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University , a meeting of the Dissertation Council 24.2.324.01 was held to defend a dissertation for the degree of candidate of technical sciences. Chairman of the Dissertation Council -Valery Mikhailovich Kolokoltsev, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. A Ph.D. thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences Biryukova Olesya Dmitrievna was presented for defense on the topic “Improving the process of asymmetric storage rolling to improve mechanical properties in sheet layered aluminum composites” by specialty 2.6.4. Metal forming; scientific adviser - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Pesin Alexander Moiseevich . The dissertation defense was successful. All present members of the Dissertation Council noted the high level of preparation of the dissertation student, her scientific maturity. Yekaterinburg hosted the annual international industrial exhibition Innoprom-2022, its theme is Industrial Transition: From Challenges to New Opportunities.  Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University also took part in the large-scale event.

At the international industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg, as one of the projects of the URAL INTERREGIONAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION CENTER FOR ADVANCED PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES AND MATERIALS of the Chelyabinsk region, a unique rolling mill was presented - it can be used to process metals, giving them special properties. Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University and Chermetinformsystems LLC took part in the creation of the development. The mill was built in South Korea according to the terms of reference of Russian scientists.
