From April 16 to April 18, 2024, the XIV International Congress of Rollers was held in Cherepovets. The event brought together metal manufacturers, machine builders, research institutes, universities and engineering companies. Experts from various fields discussed technologies and equipment for metal production and processing, as well as other topical issues in the industry.

Russian universities presented their development programs to the commission and subcommittee of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. Of the 67 participants applying for candidate status, 24 universities from 20 regions of the country were selected, including Nosov MSTU.

Nosov MSTU once again gladly invites young scientists, graduate students and industrial specialists to take part in the VIII International Youth Conference “Magnitogorsk Rolling Practice 2024”, dedicated to the issues of metal forming and dedicated to two anniversaries: 90 years of Nosov MSTU and 95 years of Magnitogorsk.

Nosov MSTU held the annual seminar “Magnitogorsk Materials Week”.

Leading scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Magnitogorsk discussed current aspects of digital twins for thermomechanical processing of steels and developments in the field of machine tool building.

November 2 at the high engineering school “Homo Technicus” of Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University held a lecture by the deputy head of the Zhilyaev laboratory “Mechanics of gradient nanomaterials" Alexander Moiseevich Pesin. Lecture on the topic "Children's" questions or when to expect a revolution in metallurgy. How to find a high-paying job?" aroused keen interest among students. 

From November 7 to 8 at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technikal Univercity will host the Magnitogorsk Materials Week 2023 seminar.
