Head of the Zhilyaev Laboratory of Mechanics of Gradient Nanomaterials Raab Georgy Iosifovich and the laboratory staff took part in the Third International School-conference of Young Scientists "Kaibyshev Readings", held in Ufa. The conference was dedicated to the outstanding metal physicist, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, one of the authors of the only scientific discovery in the Republic of Bashkortostan Kaibyshev Oskar Akramovich.
The conference program included work in the following areas:
- Superplasticity of metals and alloys;
- Nanomaterials: preparation, structure, properties;
- Surface modification by physico-chemical methods;
- Modern methods of processing materials.
A competition of scientific papers and reports was held for young scientists. Engineers of the Zhilyaev Laboratory of Mechanics of Gradient Nanomaterials Anna Baryshnikova and Alexey Sverchkov were awarded diplomas for the best report presented at the Third International School-Conference of Young Scientists "Kaibyshev Readings". Based on the results of the conference, participants were issued certificates of participation and certificates of advanced training.
