On December 22, during a visit to Roscosmos and the Advanced Research Foundation, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University  Oleg Tulupov  and the head of the information and analytical department of the strategic planning department of the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University  Andrey Shemetov  , together with the Executive Director of Scientific Production Association Android Technics  Yevgeny Dudorov  and the head of the electric motor development department of Scientific Production Association Android Technics  Dmitry Kuvshinov  , presented and successfully defended a project of the Advanced Research Foundation related to the development of a hybrid power plant based on a new type of electric motors for small aircraft and new materials for its manufacture.

The following will be involved in the implementation of the project by Magnitogorsk State Technical University: the laboratory of advanced electric drives "AEDrives", the laboratory "Mechanics of gradient nanomaterials named after A.P. Zhilyaev” and Research Institute “Nanosteels”.

The project, symbolically defended at the Scientific and Technical Council of the Advanced Research Foundation on Power Engineers Day, will start at the beginning of 2023 and is designed for two years. Funding is provided by the Advanced Research Foundation.
